Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine are core components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). During a session we diagnose the cause of symptoms by using tongue, pulse, abdominal and palpation diagnostic techniques. The ultimate goal is use this medicine as a way to get and stay healthy by using your body's innate ability to heal itself.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

We use Chinese herbal medicine as a stand alone therapy or in conjunction with your acupuncture treatments. Chinese herbal medicine has a 3000+ year history and is safe and effective way to enhance your health or treat a myriad of internal and physical conditions.

Becky went to Spa Tech Institute in 2020 for Holistic Massage, where she studied Polarity and Therapeutic Massage. Unfortunately, while finishing up the Polarity portion of the program, COVID struck, and the program was at a standstill from March 2020 until March 2021. She graduated from the Therapeutic Massage portion of the program in March 2022 and has since received certification in IASTSM (Graston technique), Personal Training, became a Lymphatic Drainage Massage provider, as well as earned CEUs in Reflexology; which she would love to pursue in more depth. Her favorite massage techniques are deep tissue and trigger point release, which she loves incorporating with her knowledge and experience in Athletic Training.

Becky will be accepting clients starting in April and will exceed your expectations.

I first came to acupuncture in my 30’s as a patient with significant chronic knee pain. Acupuncture gave me great relief before, during and after multiple surgeries. Now in my own practice, I help clients not only with pain, but with a wide range of diagnoses and concerns: arthritis, migraines, digestion issues, reproductive issues, insomnia, depression, neurological disorders, addiction and more. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and other TCM modalities work hand-in-hand with Western medicine to bring balance and health to the body. I continually take classes and workshops, and educate myself on new developments and research in TCM theory and practice so that I can better serve my clients in their pursuit of wellness.

I hold a dual Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and Chinese Herbal Medicine from New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS. I am licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
